About The Position

The Bagging Associate (Bagger) performs work in a cleanroom in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves positioning and inspecting parts, fastening components, checking availability of components and subassemblies, conducting vacuum and pressure leak tests, identifying parts, maintaining process documentation, and training employees. The position supports MDC Precision, which manufactures precision components for research, semiconductor, aerospace, life sciences, and food processing sectors.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Three to five years of direct related electro-mechanical and vacuum experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Perform the tasks of a Bagger.
Position parts according to blueprints.
Inspect components for damage and finish quality.
Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using basic hand tools and torque wrenches.
Determine the availability of components and subassemblies for the assembly process.
Reproduce problems and discuss details.
Perform vacuum and pressure leak tests as a Leak Checker.
Identify parts using visual aids and part numbers.
Maintain process data logs and other required documentation.
Train new employees and cross-train existing employees.
Comply with applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations, company policy, and accepted safe work practices.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
