About The Position
Top Tier Ingredients in Hancock, WI is seeking a Night Shift Bagger. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity with no experience required, as training will be provided. The role involves working as part of a team to produce high-quality potato flakes and potato flour, gaining hands-on manufacturing experience in a safe, fast-paced environment. The Bagger is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging finished products according to quality, food safety, and customer specifications, ensuring accurate weighing, proper sealing, labeling, and preparation for storage or shipment. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or food production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Operate bagging and packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor product flow from production to packaging lines.
- Verify correct bag weights, labels, lot codes, and packaging materials.
- Inspect bags and packaging for quality defects and report issues promptly.
- Stack, palletize, wrap, and prepare finished products for warehouse storage or shipment.
- Maintain accurate production, packaging, and inventory records.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and notify supervisors of maintenance concerns.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping standards.
- Assist with product changeovers, line setup, and cleaning activities.
- Support team members and perform other production-related duties as assigned.
