About The Position

This bagger position is for our O'Fallon Schnucks location. Candidates must be available until 10 PM and weekends. This role is offering 16-20 hours per week. This is not an official description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of a customer service person to include the following.

Requirements

• 16 years or older to apply
• Must be available till 10pm
• Must be available weekends
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for internal candidates)
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management
