About The Position

This position is located at Profiles Limestone, TN manufacturing plant and reports to the production supervisor. As a bagger operator on the production line, you will rotate positions with your teammates throughout your shift. This will include operating the bagger machine, monitoring finished goods for imperfections in packaging, removing defective bags form the line, cutting bags for reprocessing, hand stacking pallets of 50-pound bags, operating a forklift (once trained and certified) and housekeeping duties as needed.

• Able to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable
• Ability to be at work on time and as scheduled
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate bagger safely and efficiently
• Maintain preset production goals.
• Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.
• Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing
• Operate forklift to load and store bags.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional duties as required.
