About The Position

Provides services behind the counter, including baggage handling, transfer of baggage and oversized transfers, and assistance in the processing and transport of passenger luggage. The role guarantees service to the client's airlines/airports in accordance with contracts and within the agreed budget level. It requires compliance with customer service skills as provided via training, and full familiarity with procedures behind counter management, aviation safety, security procedures, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of aviation experience
• Must be able to lift 70lbs or more
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time.
• Be able to maintain customer service professionalism while under pressure and stressful environment
• Must be able to read airline boarding pass
• Always be professional in appearance and manners to passengers and any other person at the airport
• Must pass all pre-employment requirements and those to obtain an Airport ID with a seal
• Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, night shift
• The ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check.
• Must be able to speak and be understood, hear, and comprehend the English language
• stand for long periods of time
• be able to lift approximately 70 pounds
• be able to relocate in the event of an emergency
• have a neat and professional appearance

Responsibilities
