About The Position

This position is for a Bag and Box Machine Operator in the Bakery department. The role involves operating machinery efficiently, maintaining material supply, and tracking usage. The operator will also support various company initiatives such as safety, quality, and team participation. This is a full-time position with a specific shift and hourly rate.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Continuous standing is required 9+ hours.
• Job requires frequent twisting, bending and turning.
• Associate must have good hand and eye co-ordination to work on fast speed conveyor belts.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Associate must be able to work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills between management and coworkers are a must.

Responsibilities

• Ability to run bag/box machine efficiently.
• Keep line supplied with materials.
• Calculate and track material usage.
• LOTO trained.
• Support CPS activities to include but not limited to: Safety, Quality, 5S, CIL, Centerline, Equipment Ownership, Area Ownership, Team participation, CSD, etc.
