About The Position
Team member responsible for monitoring the carcasses passing in front of them for unvented carcasses. Will be required to use scissors. When not engaged in venting of the carcasses, will be required to monitor, and remove incidental feathers. Standing, reaching, pulling and lifting less than 5 pounds birds, and manipulation of hands – pinch/grip. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maximum of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire.
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period for rehire consideration.
- Must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring carcasses for unvented carcasses.
- Using scissors for venting.
- Monitoring and removing incidental feathers when not engaged in venting.
