About The Position

Driver will be transporting students involved in American Heritage School extracurricular and field trip activities. As a backup bus driver for AHS, you will be called upon as opportunities present themselves, roughly once or twice per month.

Requirements

• Current CDL certification/License
• Ability to carry out assigned routes
• Basic knowledge of the geography of Utah
• Good communication skills (Returning phone calls, texts, emails etc.)
• Courtesy, patience and kindness when working with youth
• Comfortable working in an environment aligned with the values of American Heritage School, which incorporates the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints into its school programs.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean bus environment for each transport.
• Ensure the safety of all students as the bus operator.
• Have and maintain a current CDL certification/License.
• Have the ability to carry out assigned routes and a basic knowledge of the geography of Utah.
• Must have good communication skills (Returning phone calls, texts, emails etc.) and courtesy, patience and kindness when working with youth.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment aligned with the values of American Heritage School, which incorporates the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints into its school programs.
