About The Position

The Backroom Receiving Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to meet business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and follows established customer experience, merchandising, and operating practices.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
