This position is responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures. The associate will develop and post delivery schedules, compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts, and route merchandise to proper locations. They will also track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining the clearance area. Safety is a key component, requiring adherence to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including proper forklift spotting and handling of hazardous materials. The role also involves complying with company policies, standards of ethics, and integrity, and completing work assignments by using policies, data, and resources. Collaboration with managers, coworkers, and customers is essential, as is identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations. The associate will also contribute to a positive team environment by embracing differences, building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and helping develop and mentor others.
