The Backroom Associate is responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This includes developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, and routing merchandise to proper locations. The role also involves receiving and organizing merchandise in the receiving area, tracking and processing claims, returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, and maintaining the clearance area. Additionally, the associate must maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards and procedures, including those for handling hazardous materials and forklift operation. Compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and integrity are crucial. The associate will complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with others to identify and implement improvements. The role also emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, and building strong, trusting relationships. It involves strengthening the team through development and mentorship, recognizing contributions, and acting with integrity by upholding high standards and modeling company values.
