About The Position

As a Backroom Associate, you play a key role in keeping our store stocked and running smoothly. You’ll process incoming merchandise, organize the stockroom, prepare products for the sales floor, and support a clean, efficient, and safe backroom environment. This position may also involve cross-training in other store areas to meet business needs.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable team player who works well with others.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and early mornings (truck days often start early).
Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation, and to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

Retail, warehouse, stockroom, or related experience preferred but not required — we provide training.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and process truck deliveries accurately and efficiently.
Sort, tag, hang, secure, and prepare merchandise according to company standards so it is ready for the sales floor.
Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment and efficient inventory flow.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom area at all times.
Support sales floor recovery and restocking as needed.
Follow all merchandising, operational, and loss-prevention procedures.
Communicate effectively with managers and team members about priorities and progress.
Uphold safety standards and participate in store shrink-reduction efforts.
Provide friendly, helpful service when interacting with customers or co-workers.
Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
