Holiday Part Time Associates - Backroom
About The Position
Marshalls is hiring a holiday part-time Backroom Associate. The role supports store operations by preparing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining store organization and cleanliness, and delivering a highly satisfying customer experience. Associates follow operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in other store areas to support business needs. The position is based at Marshalls Store 0051 in Houma, Louisiana, and pays $12.50–$13.00 per hour at the start, with actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers while following established customer-experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately process customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company’s merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
