About The Position

This position provides customer service by acknowledging customers, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment. The associate will also provide direction and guidance to other associates on customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines. They will maintain their area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring claims and returns are handled properly, the area is zoned, merchandise and supplies are arranged and organized, and shrink and damages are identified. This role also assists management with the supervision of associates in multiple departments by assigning duties, developing and communicating goals, teaching and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the Open Door Policy, and conducting daily meetings. The associate will participate in the hiring, recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluation of associates in their assigned area. They will work with associates to ensure proper execution of customer inventory flow, backroom standards are maintained, freight is processed correctly, and the backroom is ready for incoming freight. Additionally, they will ensure claims associates are processing claims according to company policies. Requirements

  • Will meet all store requirements to handle and/or sell firearms, such as completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC), Firearms Authorization Training, and state specific requirements within time frames permitted.
  • Will successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments.
