This position is responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This includes developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. The associate will receive merchandise, organize and maintain the Receiving area, track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and utilizing technology for reporting and documentation. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the safety of the facility by following all safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and correcting or reporting unsafe situations. The associate must also comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, complete work assignments and priorities, and embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences to create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected. They will work as a team, build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and help develop and mentor others. The role requires acting with integrity, maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, and supporting Walmart's goal of becoming a regenerative company. The associate will serve customers and members by delivering results, making decisions based on reliable information, and balancing priorities.
