This position is responsible for maintaining and processing shipments for the Club in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This includes developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses. The associate will also receive merchandise, organize and maintain the Receiving area, track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area, and utilizing technology for reporting and documentation. Safety of the facility is paramount, requiring adherence to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including proper forklift spotting, handling of hazardous materials, and steel standard guidelines. The role also involves complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, completing work assignments and priorities, and embracing diversity and inclusion to create a supportive workplace. Teamwork, communication, and mentorship are key aspects of strengthening the team. The associate is expected to act with integrity, serve customers and members by putting them first and making decisions based on reliable information, and strive for excellence by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, and driving continuous improvement.
