Backhoe Operator
About The Position
Kidco Construction is looking for a skilled and dependable Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator to join our Foundation Excavation division for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate has experience in backfilling, compacting, loading trucks, digging trenches, and is able to read site drawings and plans. They should be willing to perform a variety of tasks, including using a rubber tire backhoe for various purposes, using a laser to shoot grade, setting up and taking down temporary fencing, and directing tandem traffic to efficiently remove excess materials. The role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and lifting, and the candidate must work well in a team setting, have reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
Requirements
- Experience in backfilling, compacting, loading trucks, digging trenches, etc.
- Able to read site drawings and plans.
- Willing to perform a variety of tasks
- Capable of physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, lifting, etc.
- Works well in a team setting and is a team player.
- Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
