About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing enterprise applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and APIs, ensuring features align with product backlog priorities. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, create automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. This position also requires supporting production readiness, troubleshooting, and continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

• More than 7 years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong Java development experience in enterprise applications
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Experience with unit testing, test automation, and test-driven development (TDD)
• Ability to participate in story sizing, sprint planning, and iterative software delivery
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and security teams

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Kotlin and/or Groovy
• Experience supporting supply chain, warehouse management, or order management platforms
• Manhattan Associates platform experience (WMS, WMOS, Active, or OMS preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
• Exposure to cloud-native application development
