About The Position

We're looking for a Back End Software Engineer to join our team, focused on delivering creative improvements for our engineering teams. Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. To help our teams work together effectively, this role is fully remote, but requires you to be located in either US Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience with one or more prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go, or Scala is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably a Computer Science degree or equivalent experience).
• Experience performing platform integrations using REST.
• A background in working with GIT in a collaborative team setting.
• Familiarity with server technologies (NPM, Docker, NGINX, Express/Node).
• A love for working collaboratively on a team with varied strengths.
