About The Position
Build a financial operations platform for the construction industry, a global market still served by fragmented, decades-old software. The role is for a backend or full-stack engineer who enjoys simplifying complex systems, solving high-ambiguity problems, and building reliable infrastructure at scale. The position is full-time and in person five days per week in San Francisco, California. The technology stack includes Redis, Postgres, and AWS CDK and EC2. Visa transfers and new visa sponsorships are available.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience.
- Ability to work independently and take significant ownership.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Unify fragmented systems behind a modern API.
- Build integrations with legacy SQL, DLL, and API-based software.
- Scale systems handling millions of API requests per day.
- Improve caching, filtering, testing, reliability, and developer experience.
- Ship quickly and work directly with customers.
