About The Position

Conductor is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team. Conductor allows users to run a team of coding agents in the cloud or on their Mac. The company launched in the summer of 2025 and is used by engineers at leading companies such as Linear, Vercel, Notion, Stripe, and Y Combinator. The mission is to build the human interface to AI organizations. The team is small but growing, offering an opportunity to join the co-founders in an exciting space. No AI experience is needed, but enthusiasm for LLMs is encouraged.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling cloud applications at fast-growing startups.
• Ability to discern which corners to cut and which t's to cross.
• Fast-paced work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TypeScript, Tauri, and React (though not required, as the company trusts candidates to learn).
• Experience developing AI or ML products (though not a primary focus, strong software engineers are sought).
