About The Position

One of our direct clients is urgently looking for a Backend Engineer (JavaScript/Node.Js) to work on the Scan & Go product. This role involves daily collaboration with world-class engineers, designing and developing high-performance, scalable applications using JavaScript/Node and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual contributor responsible for completing feature work and writing unit and E2E tests.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent
• Strong experience with JavaScript and Node
• Experience building Restful APIs
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working on high performance, scalable Node applications
• Able to work in a fast-paced development environment

Responsibilities

• Work daily with world-class engineers on the Scan & Go product.
• Work daily with JavaScript/Node and related technologies to design and develop high performance, scalable applications.
• Work as a self-starting individual contributor to complete feature work in support of the Scan & Go product backend.
• Write unit and E2E tests to cover new work.
