Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages
Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services
Experience with relational databases, including database schema design and query optimization
Proficiency in using Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests
Experience in writing and running unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and resolve issues efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements and environments
Demonstrate fluency in both English and Lithuanian, aligning with team expectations

Nice To Haves

Understanding of e-commerce platforms, shopping carts, payment processing, and related technologies
Experience in writing and running unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests
Experience with Node.js

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and applications
Implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various frontend and mobile applications
Integrate third-party APIs and services, ensuring seamless communication between systems
Design and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
Manage database performance, security, and data integrity across different environments
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
Implement secure coding practices to protect against common vulnerabilities
Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies
