Author & Edit Hospitality is bringing the celebrated Au Cheval concept to Nashville's 12 South neighborhood, aiming to deliver unforgettable dining experiences in a warm, energetic atmosphere. This collaboration between Brendan Sodikoff of Hogsalt and Sam Fox of Author & Edit Hospitality introduces a beloved dining concept to Nashville. Au Cheval is an acclaimed diner-style bar and restaurant known for elevating classic American comfort food with exceptional ingredients and thoughtful preparation. It is famous for its iconic cheeseburger and egg-focused dishes, offering a distinctive take on traditional diner fare, complemented by classic cocktails, a global wine list, and draught beers.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant is great, but the ability to work as a team and a dynamic personality is even better.
Excellent communication skills
Can stand for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
Clear and clean tables after guests leave, including dishware, tabletops, chairs, booths, and the floor.
Reset the table quickly for the next guest.
Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
Communicate with the guests, servers, hosts, and managers to ensure great customer service
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant
