About The Position

As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of industrial conveyor systems and equipment associated with Reworld’ s industrial metals recovery and ash conditioning processes.

Requirements

Must have experience operating industrial equipment
Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule
Must be able to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with minimum notice
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
Utilize activity logs and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
Maintain housekeeping in assigned area
Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
