About The Position

The Back Parts Counter Representative is responsible for providing customer service and sales assistance in accordance with company policy. You will act as the primary interface with retail and wholesale customers as well as service department employees to sell the required parts and accessories. This position offers variable monthly pay based on prior month's performance. The hourly base range is $26.50--$33.50 per hour, with an expected annual earnings range of $60,000--$72,000.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and practices

High school diploma or the equivalent and one-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

i-Car Certification preferred but not required
Specific manufacturer's certification preferred but not required
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one year's experience working in the service drive or at an auto parts retailer or wholesaler.
