Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• BLS, LPN or RN
• PREA training completion required.
• Good communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Willing and able to learn new skills and adapt to change often
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to manage anger/fear/hostility.
• Ability to manage stress appropriately.

Nice To Haves

• Post-Secondary degree/certification preferred.
• Previous medical jail experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform health appraisal of each inmate within 7 days of admission, including a medical screening, histories of the medical, dental, mental health and immunizations, vital signs, other tests and therapy as appropriate.
• Assist the providers in the immediate care of the inmates.
• Assist in clerical duties as time allows.
• Follow policy in the overall operation of the Clinic's back office.
