Requirements

Must have a Food Handler's permit and TABC certification.
Must be able to attend shifts according to schedule and in proper uniform.
Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
Must be able to multitask.
Must be able to reach, bend, squat, stoop, shake, carry, push and lift items throughout the shift.
Must be able to follow instructions and perform duties accurately and efficiently.
Must have effective hearing for accurate communication.

Nice To Haves

Knife skills (though training is provided).

Responsibilities

Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
Following prep lists.
Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients.
Preparing simple dishes, such as entrees or salads.
Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
Assisting in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.
Distributing orders to be served, cleaning plates for dishwashing, and preparing takeaway packages.
Supervising food and cooling room temperatures.
Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers.
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
Helping other positions and areas depending on the needs for that day.
Assisting team members when needed.
