About The Position

Someburros is hiring Back of House (BOH) Team Members to join our kitchen team. In this role, team members are trained across multiple kitchen positions including Line Cook, Prep Cook, and Dishwasher, helping ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food for our guests. We are looking for reliable team players who work well in a fast-paced restaurant environment and take pride in food safety, cleanliness, and consistency. Experience is preferred but not required. Paid training is provided.

Requirements

  • Must be of legal working age in Arizona
  • Weekend availability required
  • Typical shifts range 6–8 hours
  • Full-time availability preferred, but part-time candidates are welcome
  • Prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable learning knife skills and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong commitment to food safety and cleanliness
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Team player mindset with strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand and stay active throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Valid Food Handler Card required before starting

Responsibilities

  • Cook proteins and prepare menu items during service
  • Maintain speed, consistency, and accuracy during busy rushes
  • Work assigned stations and communicate with the kitchen team
  • Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients
  • Follow prep sheets and kitchen systems
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in prep areas
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Keep the dish area clean and organized
  • Support the kitchen team with trash removal and restocking
  • Cross-trained in multiple BOH positions and work together to maintain strong food safety standards and efficient kitchen operations.
