About The Position

Pinkbox Doughnuts is a vibrant and innovative doughnut shop known for its wide variety of unique flavors and rotating coffee menu. With multiple locations, they have gained recognition for their quality and popularity. They are seeking a high-energy individual who loves people and can thrive in a fast-paced environment to join their team as an overnight production leader. This role is responsible for overseeing doughnut production, ensuring quality control, adhering to recipes, managing labor and costs, maintaining sanitation standards, supervising staff, and preparing the shop for opening. The leader will guide the Back of House (BOH) teams to ensure consistent, high-quality production on time.

Requirements

  • Bi-lingual — fluent in English and Spanish
  • Minimum 2 years bakery or high-volume kitchen leadership experience
  • Supervised teams of at least 15 staff
  • ServSafe certified (active)
  • Valid Food Handler card (not expired)
  • Experienced with ordering, receiving, pars, and inventory control
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, coaching, and staff development
  • Able to work overnight shifts

Responsibilities

  • Lead overnight BOH production and execute nightly production plans
  • Adjust production pars and ensure opening showtime readiness
  • Enforce recipe adherence and batch standards
  • Conduct quality control checks across all production stages
  • Place orders, manage receiving, and conduct weekly inventory
  • Control waste, food cost, and labor scheduling within budget
  • Validate daily equipment cleaning and weekly BOH deep cleans
  • Coach, train, and supervise BOH staff productivity
  • Troubleshoot production, equipment, and staffing issues
  • Report nightly production results and issues to GM
