Requirements

  • Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
  • Current X-ray certification (CA)
  • Coronal polish and sealant certification
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
  • Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho, oral surgery, etc.).
  • Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  • Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish.
  • Take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
  • Participate in mentoring programs to grow your clinical expertise and advance your career.
