Requirements
- Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Current X-ray certification (CA)
- Coronal polish and sealant certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance
Nice To Haves
- Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics)
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
- Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho, oral surgery, etc.).
- Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
- Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish.
- Take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
- Participate in mentoring programs to grow your clinical expertise and advance your career.
