About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Back End Software Engineer with expertise in C#/.NET to join our team for a 9-12 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust and scalable back-end software, designing efficient system architectures, and writing high-quality code. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions, troubleshoot systems, and explore advanced domains such as geospatial data, big data processing, and event-driven architecture. Success in the first 60-90 days will involve contributing to core systems, building for scale, improving quality through testing and code reviews, collaborating effectively with other teams, demonstrating problem-solving skills, and delivering early wins through optimizations or debugging.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, or ASP.NET.
  • Proven background in building SaaS web applications and microservices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker).
  • Proficiency in SQL (DML, DDL, query tuning; SQL Server preferred).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and version control.
  • Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for building efficient, elegant systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.

  • Experience with geospatial analysis, large-scale data processing, or event-driven platforms.
