Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of backend applications using Java, contributing across analysis, design, construction, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, supporting deployment across cloud and container platforms including AWS, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to feasibility assessments, time and cost estimates, and IT planning activities that translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Analyze complex application issues by evaluating system processes, business workflows, and industry standards, and propose well-reasoned solutions in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Support the implementation of security measures within application design and assist with post-implementation analysis to validate system functionality.
