Back End Engineer

About The Position
As the Back End Software Engineer you'll be part of a team, helping to evolve and sustain a mission-focused software suite, working across backend services, containers, orchestration, and integration points to keep applications resilient and ready for what comes next.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
- Top Secret clearance required
- Favorable completion of a polygraph required
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Unable to sponsor an employment Visa
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
- Enjoys the occasional coffee-fueled brainstorm and a well-placed joke.
