About The Position

This is a 1-year contract, full-time position for a Back-End Developer/Tech Lead. The role involves communicating with clients to assess and analyze requirements for automation solutions (RPA), managing and guiding other developers, and performing RPA development and operational support. It also includes traditional program development and application module development. Responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to documentation, with a strong emphasis on problem-finding and adapting to existing application structures. The position requires designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, managing the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, leading junior developers, and supporting ongoing RPA program operations. The role also involves implementing automated testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring application security and performance. Collaboration with customers and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions is key. The role requires analyzing business requirements, suggesting best practices, writing test scenarios, and optimizing application performance. Liaising with the development team for new features, ensuring quality assurance standards, researching new technologies, and creating technical plans are also part of the duties. The Tech Lead will be responsible for answering technical questions and clearing obstacles for the team, as well as reporting on development progress.

Requirements

+7~ years in web based related system development including Java (or other programing languages like Python) experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems.
Fluent English verbal and writing skills.
Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSon, Java Script, AJAX
Experience with Oracle database server, SQL, PL/SQL procedures

Nice To Haves

Good understanding or experience in RPA is a plus
Experience in data analytic (ex: Alteryx) & visualization tool (ex: Tableau, Power BI) - preferred
BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field – preferred
Korea/English Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications and modules, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Manage the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritizing, testing, and releases, often using Agile methodologies
Lead, guide, and mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices
Monitor, support on-going operation of the developed programs (RPA) that are serviced to the customers. And if necessary, resolve the issue & enhance the current solutions
Work closely with customers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions
Implement automated testing, debug issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure application security and performance
Participate in internal and external meetings to gather the business requirements and suggest solutions
Analyze the business requirements and suggest the best practice to apply to the business requirements
Write unit, integration, and production test scenarios
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize application performance
Liaise with the development team to identify and plan new features
Ensure the developed modules comply with company's quality assurance standards
Research and suggest new technologies, applications, and protocols
Create detailed technical plans for the execution and implementation of projects
Be available to answer technical questions, clarifications, and clear obstacles for the team
Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
Writing development progress reports
