This role is a full-time, day shift position focused on processing customer returns and supporting receiving operations. The Back-End Clerk will handle various tasks related to returns, including processing, documentation, packaging, and shipment preparation. They will also be involved in coordinating vendor credits and replacements, sorting returned merchandise, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the role supports receiving functions such as unloading trucks, verifying shipments, processing paperwork, and updating inventory systems. The Back-End Clerk is responsible for maintaining organization in the backroom and return areas, adhering to safety procedures, and handling hazardous materials. They may also assist with customer inquiries and communicate with vendors. Within the Receiving Office, this individual will manage record retention, confirm truck schedules, complete operational reports, handle items out for repair, manage claims and inventory adjustments, and support receiver/stocker teams with unloading and PO processing. Other duties may be assigned.
