This role involves completing the final breakdown of functions by cleaning rooms, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location. It also includes completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, locking doors, and breaking down goods. The attendant will set up, stock, and maintain work areas, and monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Responsibilities also include transporting dirty linen to the correct area for cleaning, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking linen shelves with clean linens. Maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures and assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests are key aspects of this position. The role requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards are also expected. This position requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of varying weights, with and without assistance. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to navigate various surfaces and positions are necessary. The role also involves reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
