About The Position

This is a Bachelor's Level Internship with the Department of Corrections (DOC) at Robinson, Enfield. The intern will be a member of the core team responsible for providing Medication Assisted Treatment to the inmate population within Department of Correction facilities. Through this program, interns will gain firsthand experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment, including assessment, working on independent living skills, outreach treatment services, and medication evaluation and monitoring.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a mental health field.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Medication Assisted Treatment to the inmate population.
