The Bachelors intern will support daily program operations by assisting with administrative tasks, data entry, participant records, program materials, and general office functions to help ensure efficient service delivery. Assist with community outreach, workshops, events, and resource distribution while providing support to staff and program participants. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's. Family Success Centers are community-based, family-centered neighborhood gathering places where community residents go for family support, interactive workshops, activities, and groups. Family Success Centers are beautiful spaces designed to bring the community together to build relationships, strengthen the community and the families in it. They are places where residents and volunteers share their time and talent to build community capacity and enrich the lives of community members, and make families and neighborhoods stronger. A variety of family friendly events take place each month. We offer fun and educational workshops and activities, connection to resources, and volunteer opportunities. All services are free and open to all families in the community.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual.
  • Interest in community services, social work, human services, education, public health, or a related field.
  • Ability to assist with events, outreach activities, and general administrative tasks.
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks and complete onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist staff with daily program operations, administrative tasks, and community outreach efforts.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, answering phones, preparing program materials, maintaining participant records, supporting event planning and setup, distributing resources.
  • Assist with workshops and community events.
  • Provide general office support while helping ensure programs and services run efficiently.
