About The Position

Join SimCorp and help shape enterprise-wide Azure platform adoption in a leading FinTech environment. The Platform Release team works at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Delivery to ensure secure, standardized, and efficient platform releases across the organization to SimCorp clients. This is a hands-on Azure platform role focused on technical analysis, standardization, and release enablement. It is not a software development or DevOps position.

Requirements

  • Strong, practical experience with Microsoft Azure, gained in roles such as: Azure Developer or Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Azure Platform or Support Engineer
  • Ability to work independently and drive ambiguous technical tasks to completion
  • Confidence working directly with architects and engineers to clarify requirements and validate solutions
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort working with complex platform challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Azure certificates such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400 would be beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical specialist for the Azure platform, supporting release, migration, and modernization initiatives
  • Independently investigate platform configurations, versions, dependencies, and standards directly in Azure
  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities, contributing to platform standardization and optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams as the technical point of contact for Platform Release
  • Explore new tools and approaches to improve platform visibility, reliability, and governance
  • Define and maintain Azure tenant standards and versioning strategies
  • Support enterprise governance, security, and compliance
  • Influence large-scale platform modernization and cloud adoption
