About The Position

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. Nebius is building a high-performance AI cloud platform, and we are looking for an Azure Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and production-grade Azure environments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability, governance, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred) / Bicep / ARM
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of: Azure Networking (VNet, Peering, NSG, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, Application Gateway) Compute services (VMs, VMSS, AKS) Storage and PaaS services
  • Experience with Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
  • Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Good understanding of cloud governance, policies, and cost management.
  • Intermediate or higher English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AKS in production.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container networking.
  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent)

  • Design and manage Azure subscriptions and landing zones.
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Implement secure networking and access control models.
  • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and optimize costs.
  • Enforce Azure Policies and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud-native workloads.
  • Maintain documentation and architectural standards.
