About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Azure integration services, API Management (APIM), and messaging frameworks like Apache Kafka or Apache Camel. The ideal candidate will lead a team, define integration strategies, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations across business systems.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in integration technologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or Apache Camel
  • Expertise in: REST APIs
  • Expertise in: Message queues and event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub)
  • Strong knowledge of Azure integration services: Logic Apps
  • Strong knowledge of Azure integration services: Function Apps
  • Strong knowledge of Azure integration services: Event Grid
  • Strong knowledge of Azure integration services: Event Hub
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Terraform or other scripting/automation tools
  • Working knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or ability to quickly learn
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of integration developers and engineers
  • Provide technical direction and hands-on support when needed
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
  • Design scalable and efficient integration architectures across enterprise applications
  • Define integration patterns (REST, messaging, event-driven, pub/sub)
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and methodologies
  • Analyze and understand core applications to define optimal integration strategies
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation and system design artifacts
  • Develop and manage release plans for integration solutions, including dependency tracking
  • Oversee development, deployment, and maintenance of integration applications
  • Ensure solutions are robust, secure, and performant
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and production issues
  • Participate in architecture/design reviews for new and enhancement initiatives
  • Perform proactive monitoring (e.g., Dynatrace) to identify performance or functional issues
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine integration requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure cohesive architecture
  • Clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences
  • Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution with minimal supervision
  • Define and enforce integration standards, guidelines, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and industry standards
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and integration trends
