Azure Infrastructure Manager

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Manager to serve as the hands-on technical owner of WellStreet’s Microsoft Azure cloud environment and Microsoft 365 platform. This is a working manager role responsible for direct administration, configuration, governance, and compliance across our cloud ecosystem. This position will play a critical role in maintaining platform stability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across Azure and M365 environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of Azure administration experience
Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, HiTrust, or similar preferred)
Strong experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
Experience with Azure governance, policy, and compliance frameworks
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Purview
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting
Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Confident decision-maker with strong ownership mentality

Responsibilities

Manage and administer Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and resource governance
Oversee Azure Policy, compliance frameworks, and regulatory alignment (HIPAA, HiTrust, NIST)
Maintain and support Azure Landing Zone architecture and hybrid cloud environments
Administer Microsoft 365 platforms (SharePoint, OneDrive, Purview)
Lead Azure cost management (FinOps) efforts, including budgeting and optimization
Support Microsoft Sentinel integrations and monitoring capabilities
Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Engineering teams
Ensure adherence to ITIL v4 processes including change, incident, and problem management
