About The Position

As a successful Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, innovate, troubleshoot and deliver state-of-the-art cloud native capabilities. You will automate solutions, maintaining knowledgebase/run-books, troubleshoot, restore service to applications and provide general assistance with projects, including limited scheduled after-hours support as necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience.
• Strong understanding of Azure security practices.
• Familiarity and experience working with, Azure Iaas/PaaS including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage and Azure Front Door.
• Hands-on experience with, Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and operational dashboards.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in business, operations or a related field.
• Ability to configure Microsoft Sentinel.
• Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
• Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204 and AZ-400.

Responsibilities

• Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.
• Work with Terraform and Ansible for orchestration and software installation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Identify and address infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities is key.
• Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.
• Set up robust monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Create operational dashboards for proactive visibility.
