About The Position

One of our direct client is urgently looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer @ Sunnyvale CA. This role involves leading design and architecture discussions for new products or improvements to existing ones with a focus on operational excellence. The engineer will build n-tier, highly scalable, fault-tolerant, reactive Microservices using Java/Scala/Go, Camel, AKKA, and RESTful architecture for Walmart Omni platforms. They will also build high throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka for Walmart's Catalog Azure/GCP Data Lake, ensuring secure data transmission. The role includes leading the migration of legacy catalog services to next-generation reactive microsystems deployed in Kubernetes on Google GCP and Microsoft Azure. Additionally, the engineer will design and architect cloud-native, distributed, high-performance, and scalable microservices for the Walmart grocery ecosystem, develop applications for web and mobile media, and utilize industry research for system improvements. Data structure and algorithmic skills will be used for data mining patterns, and the engineer will design and develop service-oriented (SOA) architectures using technologies like Akka-Http, Apache Camel, Apache Drools, and Rest/Grpc webservices. The role also involves directing root cause analysis of critical business and production issues.

Responsibilities

Lead design/architecture discussions to come up with the system design and architecture for new products or improvements to existing ones with Operational excellence
Build n-tier highly scalable, fault tolerant, reactive Microservices using Java/Scala/Go, Camel, AKKA and RESTful architecture for Walmart Omni platforms
Build high throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka that enable sophisticated Catalog Azure/GCP Data Lake and ensure that all data transmission is secured and protected
Design/Architect Applications in No-SQL database such Cassandra, ScyllaDB ,YugaByteDB and Azure Cosmos DB
Lead the Migration of Entire Legacy Catalog Services to Cutting Edge next generation Reactive Microsystems using Akka-Http,Akka Streams, which are deployed in Kubernetes Ecosystem in Public Cloud like Google GCP and Microsoft Azure
Design, Architect cloud native, distributed, high performant and scalable microservices for Walmart grocery Ecosystem.
Lead the development of applications which can be leveraged in web and mobile media
Utilize Industry Research and Innovation to build Next Generation systems to Improve Walmart Technology Environment.
Utilize Data structure and Algorithmic skills to Develop data mining patterns for deriving meaningful insights from terra bytes of data
Design and develop service-oriented (SOA) architectures-based modular applications for Walmart ecommerce platform using Open Source Technologies like Akka-Http,Apache Camel,Apache Drools, Rest/Grpc Webservices.
