About The Position

The Public Cloud Database PaaS Service department is responsible for the solution engineering, design, optimization, integration, automation, and maintenance of popular Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure (AZ) database PaaS services, including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, No-SQL, and Redis. Key responsibilities include R&D for introducing public cloud PaaS to the TD environment, DevOps pipeline development, and ongoing maintenance, optimization, and enhancement. This role requires expertise in database PaaS service design, security, performance, integration, and pipeline development using infrastructure as code, while adhering to architecture, engineering, and security standards.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure public clouds.
  • Extensive experience with database PaaS such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, No-SQL and Redis.
  • Strong experience working with DevOps tools such GitHub Actions and Terraform.
  • Strong working knowledge of Networking, Linux and Windows operating system.
  • Strong Problem troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architectures.
  • Knowledge of Security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
