About The Position

Martello Re Services Company LLC is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to develop and manage SQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. This role involves writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models. The engineer will design, build, and optimize Fabric pipelines and databases, and utilize Azure Data Factory to design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for data integration. Responsibilities also include managing Azure storage accounts for data security and accessibility, overseeing web security and infrastructure for public and internal websites, and writing clean, efficient, and scalable code to support data engineering and cloud infrastructure needs. #LI-DNI

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 years of SQL experience in database development, query optimization, and data modeling.
• 4 years of experience with ETL & Data Integration, preferably with Azure Data Factory.
• 4 years of experience with Cloud Networking.
• 4 years of experience with writing code, engaging with data flows, and building scalable solutions.
• 3 years of experience with Cloud, including Azure storage accounts, security, and website management.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Design, build, and optimize Fabric pipelines and databases.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory to design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for data integration.
• Manage Azure storage accounts, ensuring data security and accessibility.
• Oversee web security and infrastructure for public and internal websites (MRE website, Intranet, etc.).
• Develop and maintain data workflows, transformation logic, and integration processes.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to support data engineering and cloud infrastructure needs.
