Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

Extensive relevant experience working as a data engineer, data architect, or in a related capacity.
Demonstrated experience in cloud data technologies (especially Azure), project execution, and data architecture.
Experience in implementing and scaling cloud-based data projects, focusing on:
Cloud data technology architectures and solutions, including data warehousing, data lakes, and hybrid cloud deployments.
Change management practices, including organizational models, roles/responsibilities, and technology tooling and automation.
Data modernization strategies and tooling.
Supporting the migration from legacy data systems to modern cloud-based platforms.
Working in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience in a consulting environment, including business presentations and technical writing.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams in developing and proposing technical cloud-based data solutions, including proposals and statements of work.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and translating them into strategic cloud data solutions.
Provide thought leadership and strategic direction in the adoption of cloud data technologies, ensuring alignment with clients' business objectives.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data use cases for implementation.
Architect and design comprehensive data solutions leveraging Azure services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop reference architectures and best practice approaches to optimize clients’ cloud data adoption, performance, security, and cost models.
Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into effective data designs and implementation plans.
Oversee the execution of data migration and modernization projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Identify technical requirements for data use cases and build detailed implementation plans.
