Azure Cloud Engineer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to build, secure, automate, and operate cloud or enterprise infrastructure and platforms. The work focuses on availability, scalability, security, observability, automation, and dependable service operations. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance; work with cross-functional teams; and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle. This is a remote, full-time, direct W-2 position. It is not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements. The salary range is $115,000–$165,000 annually. U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply. Bright Vision Technologies cannot sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.
Requirements
- Typically 4+ years of experience in a related professional role.
- Practical experience with Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
- Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.
- Hands-on knowledge of the named cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
- Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
- Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
- Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Additional hands-on depth in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
- Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
- Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, configure, and operate cloud or infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
- Automate repeatable provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
- Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
- Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
- Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records; collaborate across engineering and operations.
