About The Position
Ryder is immediately hiring AZ Truck Drivers in Alliston, ON. This is a consistent, full-time work with a dedicated route (Alliston to London). The position offers No Touch Freight - Drop & Hook, and drivers will be home daily. Dispatch is in the evening, between 4pm - 8pm. Drivers can expect to earn $60,000+ with a base of $50,000 and opportunities for extra shifts and overtime.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience, required
- Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months, required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement, required
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, required
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Important, required
- Must have valid legal authorization to work in Canada.
Nice To Haves
- H.S. Diploma/GED, preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records and logs
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performs other duties as assigned.
